NAWEC ANNUAL REPORT 2022

The Nama Wellness Community Centre (NAWEC) has made significant progress in rural Ugandan healthcare by formalizing Community Health Workers (CHWs) and connecting them to government facilities, resulting in 50 additional CHWs and 79 outreach activities serving nearly 7,000 people.
In 2023, NAWEC will develop a new strategic plan for broader impact and raise funds for a community hospital to meet growing demand and serve as a training facility for healthcare professionals.

We strengthen health systems through an actively engaged and professional Community Health Workforce.
